A. Construction started Feb.1,1940 and launched on Feb. 16,1942, was built in Norfolf Navy Yard in Portsmouth, Virginia took 2years to built
B.1941 the USS Alabama saw 37 months of active duty during WWII earning 9battle stars for never suffering any casualities or damage due to enemy fire. It also received a metal from Russia for protecting the Russian Fleet.
C.Mobile,AL. Memorial Park on the Mobile river and its about 4 hours and 20 minutes 290 miles from my house.
