Read Week 21 Alabama Studies Weekly. Answer these questions and complete the USS Alabama graphic organizer attached. Also complete the crossword and “Alabama’s Military Bases” in the newspaper. Leave me a comment on the blog or on Remind to tell me that you’ve completed everything for Week 34.

    1. On December 7 1941 Japanese airplanes dropped bombs on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

    B.1941 the USS Alabama saw 37 months of active duty during WWII earning 9battle stars for never suffering any casualities or damage due to enemy fire. It also received a metal from Russia for protecting the Russian Fleet.
    C.Mobile,AL. Memorial Park on the Mobile river and its about 4 hours and 20 minutes 290 miles from my house.
